Mountain Lake MidwiferySybille Andersen, CPM, VTLM, NHCM
153 Third Street Newport, VT 05855 508-228-5553 (h) 508-325-2953 (c) My name is Sybille Andersen. I am a CPM (Certified Professional Midwife) and recently moved to Newport. I am a licensed midwife in VT as well as a certified midwife in NH. I lived the past 35 years on Nantucket Island and have been a primary caregiver for mothers and families choosing homebirth on Nantucket since 1997, and then included Martha's Vineyard in 2006. Now that the Northeast Kingdom is my new home I am seeking connections to help make my services known. In addition to providing complete prenatal care during the childbearing year, homebirth, and 6 weeks of postpartum care - my practice also offers water birth, VBAC/HBAC (home vaginal birth after cesarean), doula services, well woman care, placenta encapsulation, postpartum home care, and natural childbirth classes, and much more! I have just recently applied for status as a Provider within the Vermont Medicaid system and in so doing hope to reach out to as many families as possible who wish to have the amazingly powerful and family strengthening experience of homebirth. |
